What is the difference between "Detailed Itemization" and "Single Entry" mode?

Detailed Itemization splits a receipt across multiple budget categories. Single Entry consolidates everything into one transaction for large single-category purchases.

You can toggle between two modes depending on how you want your data organized.

Detailed Itemization (default)

Best for retail receipts from Home Depot or Lowe's where one receipt contains items for multiple categories. If you buy a toilet (Plumbing), a light fixture (Electrical) and trim (Finish Carpentry) at once, the AI creates separate line items for each.

Single Entry

Consolidates all receipt items into one expense entry. Best for large, single-category purchases. If you buy a $10,000 appliance package with 20 items that all go to Appliances, Single Entry creates one $10,000 transaction rather than 20 individual ones.
