What are subtasks?

Subtasks break a large task into a smaller checklist, keeping detailed to-dos out of your high-level schedule view. They carry into Task Templates too.

Subtasks let you break down large project milestones into smaller, actionable checklists. The Task Manager tracks your high-level project schedule, and subtasks handle the boots-on-the-ground details that would otherwise clutter your view.

How it works

  1. Open a task. Click any task in your project or template.

  2. Add your details. Scroll to the Subtasks section and type in your specific to-dos, such as "Collect keys," "Change locks," "Set thermostat."

  3. Organize. Use the drag-and-drop handles to reorder your checklist by priority.

  4. Template it. Any subtasks added to a Task Template populate automatically every time you start a new project.
